MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 10, 2026) — Hennepin Arts has announced that stand-up comedian Chris Fleming is returning to Minneapolis after sold-out performances in 2025 at the historic Pantages Theatre (710 Hennepin Ave.) on Friday, March 12, 2027 at 7 p.m. Known for his unique blend of humor and relatable storytelling, Chris promises to deliver an unforgettable experience that will leave audiences in stitches across the country.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 11 at 11 a.m. to the general public at the State Theatre Box Office (805 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis) and online at HennepinArts.org.

Chris Fleming is a comedian, actor, writer, and one of the most distinctive performers working today. Most recently, his stand-up special Chris Fleming: Live at the Palace premiered on HBO and is now streaming on HBOMax.

As a stand-up, Fleming has toured theaters nationwide with Chris Fleming Live, Showpig, Boba Everyday and Tricky Tricky, earning widespread critical acclaim. His work has been praised by The New York Times, The New Yorker, Forbes, Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly, Cosmopolitan and HuffPost. He has been named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch,” one of Vulture’s “Comedians You Should and Will Know,” and in their “Best Comedy of 2025” roundup, The New York Times honored him with Best Range. His debut stand-up special Hell, produced by Jax and Jen Statsky, is streaming on Peacock.

On screen, Fleming has appeared in “Abbott Elementary,” “Loot,” “Corporate” and the feature film The Last Laugh, starring Richard Dreyfuss and Chevy Chase. As a voice actor, his credits include The Great North, Twelve Forever, Summer Camp Island and Adventure Time: Distant Lands.

The Huffington Post has called him “perhaps one of the best things on the internet.” Of his live show, Chortle says, “you can’t take your eyes off this unpredictable, exciting performer.” "Glorious absurdity" boasts the New York Times, "a master of his craft" according to AVClub, and "truly one of a kind" -Paste Magazine. Splitsider says, “a madman and I think, genius.” According to Vulture, “equal parts imagination and inferiority complex, a combination that has led him to create some of the most bizarrely funny performance art taking place online and onstage today.”
