The Wicked tour welcomes new principal cast members
Aline Mayagoitia (Elphaba), Claudia Bennett (Glinda), Susan Cella (Madame Morrible), Pablo Laucerica (Boq) and Cristina Sastre (Nessarose) join the national tour coming to Minneapolis beginning Wednesday, July 8 at the Orpheum Theatre

MINNEAPOLIS (May 8, 2026) — Hennepin Arts announced today that the National Tour of the Broadway blockbuster WICKED will welcome new principal cast members next month. Beginning Tuesday, June 9, Aline Mayagoitia (Elphaba), Claudia Bennett (Glinda), Susan Cella (Madame Morrible), Pablo Laucerica (Boq) and Cristina Sastre (Nessarose) will join the company. Minnesota’s most popular musical will return to Minneapolis Wednesday, July 8 to Sunday, Aug. 9 at the historic Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin) as the final show in the 2025-2026 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin season.

Performance times are Tuesday to Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m. There will be a weekday matinee performance on Thursday, July 9 at 1 p.m. Performance schedule, prices and cast are subject to change without notice.

Aline made her Broadway debut originating the role of Itzel in Real Women Have Curves, and was featured in the film Kiss of the Spiderwoman opposite Diego Luna and Jennifer Lopez. Previously toured the country with Six as Katherine Howard. Theatre: Sweet Smell of Success, Cabaret, Forbidden Broadway, Evita, In the Heights. TV: “Love Life” on HBO.
