Hennepin Arts is proud to join DEMO at Art-A-Whirl inside the Twin Ignition Startup Garage. Together, we’re celebrating the city’s creative spirit and its powerful legacy of music, performance, and innovation.

Our partnership with DEMO lives through Music on Hennepin—a summer gallery that brings live, local music to downtown Minneapolis, from funk and soul to hip hop and rock. It’s a tribute to the city’s roots, especially the Minneapolis Sound shaped by artists like Prince, The Time, and so many more.
