Hennepin Arts drives cultural and economic vitality in Minnesota through leadership of the dynamic Hennepin Theatre District in downtown Minneapolis and educational programming that reaches every area of the state. Its historic theatres — Orpheum, State, Pantages and Dudley Riggs — light up Hennepin Avenue with top-tier entertainment, including the best of Broadway.

Annually, the Trust serves thousands of high school students statewide and brings hundreds of thousands of people to the Hennepin Theatre District in downtown Minneapolis to experience art on the street and stage. Hennepin Theatre Trust is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.

Hennepin Arts is one of the Midwest's premier cultural organizations, bringing together world-class performances, arts education, community engagement, and historic preservation to enrich Minnesota's cultural landscape. Formed in 2024 through the combination of Hennepin Theatre Trust and Historic Theatre Group, the organization owns and operates Minneapolis' iconic Orpheum, State, and Pantages Theatres, as well as the Dudley Riggs Theatre and The Hennepin event venue, serving more than 500,000 visitors annually.

The President / CEO role is a rare opportunity to lead a cultural institution at a transformational moment. Having recently secured ownership of its historic theater portfolio, Hennepin Arts is uniquely positioned to shape the future of the Historic Hennepin Theatre District while expanding its impact across Minnesota through performance, education, and community engagement.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President / CEO will serve as the organization's chief executive, strategist, and ambassador. The successful candidate will work closely with board members, civic leaders, donors, artists, and community partners to advance the organization's vision, strengthen its long-term sustainability, support downtown revitalization, and expand opportunities for audiences and communities across Minnesota.

The Director of Facilities is responsible for the planning, maintenance, and daily operations of Hennepin Art’s facilities. This individual will ensure all facilities within the organization are safe, clean, and run efficiently through the managing of building maintenance, safety, and environmental health and compliance; and will oversee the Maintenance/Custodial Team and work closely with the Operations Coordinators for our three Union theatres (IATSE Local 13). The Director of Facilities develops policies, implements cost-effective solutions, and drives sustainability initiatives to enhance operational performance and long-term facility management. The candidate must possess strong leadership skills, as well as excellent organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and ensure the facilities are maintained to a high standard.

The Maintenance Manager is a pivotal role responsible for the comprehensive custodial and maintenance management of the organization’s theatres and event spaces. This position demands a proactive and strategic approach to ensure all venues are maintained in pristine, "show-ready" condition at all times. The Maintenance Manager works in close collaboration with Operations Coordinators, Front of House Management, and external contractors to seamlessly coordinate cleaning schedules, maintenance projects, and event preparations.
