Spotlight Orchestra

About the program

Student musicians with instrumental interest or experience in musical theater are invited to apply for the Spotlight Orchestra. This experience includes mentorship and rehearsals alongside industry professionals and performing up to five (5) musical numbers in the pit orchestra for Spotlight Showcase at the historic State Theatre in downtown Minneapolis. Two (2) Spotlight Orchestra musicians will receive a scholarship that may be used to further their training.

Spotlight Education considers three different areas when selecting Spotlight Orchestra musicians:
