Based on the original screenplay by Albert Mangoli and William Blinn, this pre-Broadway debut is directed by Tony Award® nominee Lileana Blain-Cruz. It features a book by Tony Award winner and Pulitzer Prize winner Branden Jacobs-Jenkins with music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Tony Award winner Jason Michael Webb. Longtime Prince collaborators Bobby Z and Morris Hayes join the award-winning creative team as Prince Music Advisors.
Important venue and seating information
There is no elevator access inside the State Theatre
All wheelchair accessible seats are on the Main Floor. A single accessible restroom is available on the Main Floor. Accessible seating locations at the State Theatre are very limited, and only available on the Main Floor. Patrons with mobility restrictions, including walking up or down stairs, should purchase tickets on the main floor. Please contact the box office for assistance.
