Second Chance Prom
Event Description: Second Chance Prom returns with “PROMAGEDDON,” a campy, end-of-the-world-themed adult prom inspired by the 1998 blockbuster Armageddon—so dress like it’s your last night on Earth and dance to throwback hits (yes, including Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”) performed live by Twin Cities favorite, Al Church and Friends.
Whether you missed out on prom the first time or just want a do-over, join the fun on June 20 on the third floor at Hennepin Event Center, featuring a classic wood spring dance floor. Lean into the Late 90s vibe with butterfly clips, boy bands, Britney, and TRL-era nostalgia, or go full “asteroid aftermath” with ripped formalwear, space suits, or your own apocalyptic twist.
You don't want to miss this thing!
GA tickets will get you into the dance party at 8pm.
VIP tickets get you access to the Pre-Prom Lounge at 7pm plus the dance party.
Al Church and Friends is comprised of rock gods Jourdan Myers (Vocals, Keys) Evan Fox (Vox, Bass) Alex Young (drums), Pete LaVoie (Saxophone), and Al Church, a Tony-nominated (Macbeth, 2022) multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Minnesota.
