
A tale as old as time returns!
Disney Theatrical Group has officially unveiled the full cast for the its first North American production of Beauty and the Beast in over 25 years – and the lineup is as dazzling as the beloved fairytale itself.
Headlining the tour is Kyra Belle Johnson as Belle, bringing fresh energy to the iconic role after previously touring as Sophie in Mamma Mia!. Joining her is Fergie L. Philippe as the Beast, known to Broadway fans as Hercules Muligan-James Madison in Hamilton. His work as a puppeteer and director adds exciting dimensions to his interpretation of this layered character.
A starry supporting cast...
Stephen Mark Lukas steps into the role of Gaston, having previously portrayed the character at Paper Mill Playhouse. With Broadway credits including Funny Girl and The Book of Mormon, his experience promises a dynamic take on the swaggering villain.
Danny Gardner lights up the stage as Lumiere. Gardner’s extensive background in tap and classic musical theater roles makes him a natural fit for the charming candelabra.
Kathy Voytko, who famously went viral as Sutton Foster’s standby in The Music Man, brings warmth and vocal prowess to Mrs. Potts.
Javier Ignacio lends his comedic timing and classical training to Cogsworth. His Broadway credits include the recent revival of Company.

Harry Francis (West End veteran) brings physical comedy to Le Fou.
Kevin Ligon, a seasoned Broadway performer, plays Maurice.
Holly Ann Butler (Come From Away, Diana) takes on Madame.
Cameron Monroe Thomas, a 2025 graduate of Texas State’s musical theatre program, makes her National Tour debut as Babette.
The role of Chip will be shared by young actors Beatrice Goddard Beggs and Levi Blaise Coleman, both making their tour debuts.

The first-ever national tour of Beauty and the Beast officially launched right here in Minneapolis in November 1995! The brand-new tour kicks off June 25 in Schenectady, opens in Chicago in July and arrives in Minneapolis at the historic Orpheum Theatre Aug. 5-17, 2025.
This marks Disney's first in-house tour of the musical in over two decades, making it a landmark production for both nostalgic audiences and a new generation. Much of the original Tony-Award®-winning creative team, including Alan Menken, Tim Rice, director-choreographer Matt West and designers Stanley A. Meyer, Ann Hould-Ward and Natasha Katz, is at the helm of this production.
