March 27 marks World Theatre Day — a global celebration of storytelling, creativity and the power of theatre to connect us all. Theatre brings people together, reflects the world around us and creates space for voices to be heard. It’s one of the purest forms of human expression — and right now, the next generation is already stepping into the spotlight.
Through programs like Spotlight Education and Disney Musicals in Schools, young people across the state are discovering confidence, creativity and a sense of belonging. They’re learning to tell their stories. They’re finding their voice.
This World Theatre Day, you can help make that possible.
Why it matters

$6,000 funds a full semester of afterschool theatre education for one school
A special giving challenge
From March 23–27, every donation made in honor of World Theatre Day will be entered to win a signed poster from the 2025–2026 Broadway on Hennepin season. Up to five winners will be selected. It’s our way of saying thank you—and celebrating the impact you make possible.
