The New Standards announces annual holiday show set for at the State Theatre Dec. 6-7, 2024

The New Standards Holiday Show returns to the stage in the heart of downtown Minneapolis in the Hennepin Theatre District for three performances

TICKETS GO ON SALE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON FRIDAY, OCT. 11 AT 12 P.M.

MINNEAPOLIS (Oct. 8, 2024) — Hennepin Arts has announced that The New Standards trio and friends will ring in the holiday season with their beloved and best-selling yuletide extravaganza Friday, Dec. 6 to Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024 at the State Theatre (805 Hennepin Ave.). Tickets for The New Standards Holiday Show go on sale Friday, Oct. 11 at 12 p.m. to the general public at the State Theatre Box Office (805 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis) and online at HennepinArts.org.

The band—led by Twin Cities gentleman musicians and raconteurs Chan Poling (The Suburbs) on piano, bassist John Munson (Trip Shakespeare, Semisonic), and Steve Roehm (Billygoat, Electropolis) on vibraphone—will be joined by a supporting cast replete with vocalists, instrumentalists, dancers, and as always, a spectacular lineup of special surprise guests.

Hennepin Arts drives cultural and economic vitality in Minnesota through leadership of the dynamic Hennepin Theatre District in downtown Minneapolis and educational programming that reaches every area of the state. Its historic theatres — Orpheum, State and Pantages — and the Dudley Riggs Theatre light up Hennepin Avenue with top-tier entertainment, including the best of Broadway and a wide variety of arts programming.
