For over 15 years The New Standards and friends have been dazzling audiences with their soulful, funny, and spectacular Holiday Show. Chan Poling, Steve Roehm, and John Munson act as ringleaders for a merry troupe of musicians, dancers, and an all-star lineup of surprise special guests featuring local and not-so-local music pals. Expect the unexpected at what for many fans has become an indispensable holiday tradition. In addition to two 8pm shows, The New Standards will present a 4PM Saturday matinee featuring special guests and the full band with no intermission. Get the party started early! Great for families and happy hour thrill-seekers.

About the New Standards
Minnesota stalwarts The New Standards create an intriguing blend of everything from classic cabaret to punk rock, from the freedom of jazz, to the soul of pop and rock. They make it work through sheer musicianship and offbeat humor. The instrumentation is simple: John Munson of Trip Shakespeare/Semisonic fame on bass; Chan Poling, founder of the new-wave group The Suburbs on piano; and Steve Roehm on vibes. Chan and John split the singing. If that's not enough, a footstomp here, a shout-out, a fiery solo, and it's cooked. Simple, elegant, illuminating.
