Today, as one of Minnesota’s largest arts organizations, Hennepin Arts brings more than 600,000 people to downtown Minneapolis each year to experience the power of performance in three historic theatres — the Orpheum, State and Pantages — as well as our premier event center and performance space at 900 Hennepin Avenue.

Donors enjoy exclusive benefits

We’re pleased to offer the PNC Encore Lounge. Donors who give $1000+ annually are invited to join us in our private donor lounge, located at Hennepin Arts’s home at 900 Hennepin Avenue, next to the Orpheum Theatre, prior to Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin performances. The lounge features complimentary wine and beer as well as access to restrooms prior to the show and at intermission. Please note access to the Lounge is for our donors and is not transferable.

Donors invigorate the Trust community. Becoming a donor is an easy and satisfying way to support our work. The range of donor levels enables you to provide support at an amount that is meaningful and affordable for you. All levels make an impact on our programming, our magnificent buildings and to our community.

Donor benefits

*Concierge ticketing provides donors with personalized ticket service, including early access to purchase tickets, complimentary Broadway ticket exchanges and zero Ticketmaster fees — a savings of nearly $15 per ticket! Donors with this benefit also have access to the best seats available for nearly every show.

Please note that donating to Hennepin Arts does not guarantee you access to purchase tickets to our Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin season shows. Donor tickets are filled starting at the Guarantor level, followed by Financier, etc. and filled on a first-come, first-served basis — subject to availability.

Concierge and presale ticket limits, seat locations and access are subject to change per artist restrictions and availability. Some shows may not be included due to promoter/producer restrictions.

Matching gifts

You can double the impact of your donation – and increase your benefits — when your employer matches your contribution. We encourage you to contact your company’s human resource representative about setting up a matching contribution initiative.

When your employer matches your tax-deductible contribution:

• Your donation has twice the impact for the Trust! A $500 contribution becomes a $1,000 contribution with a full match, which not only helps us reach our goals, but enables you to take advantage of all the benefits of that higher level.

• You support the Trust’s ongoing preservation and restoration initiatives as well as programming at the historic theatres.

• You open the door to employers around the region for additional partnerships with Hennepin Arts.

• You make our community a better place to live by ensuring that downtown Minneapolis remains active and vital.

Donate your tickets

If you have tickets for an event at one of our theaters and cannot attend, please consider donating your tickets to the Trust’s Spotlight Community Tickets program. Simply contact the Donor Ticket Line at 612.455.9536 or email Donors@HennepinArts.org.

All tickets must be donated a minimum of 24 hours prior to show time.

Ticket donations for weekend performances must be donated Friday before 4 p.m.

Your donation is 100% tax deductible for the full face value of the tickets.

You will receive a letter for your taxes in 7-10 business days in regard to donating your tickets.

We are unable to issue a deduction letter for tickets donated the day of the show.
