Donate your tickets

If you have tickets for an event for one of our performances and cannot attend, please consider donating your tickets to the Spotlight Community Tickets program. Simply contact the Donor Ticket Line at 612-455-9536 or email Donors@HennepinArts.org.

  • All tickets must be donated a minimum of 24 hours prior to show time.

  • Ticket donations for weekend performances must be donated Friday before 4 p.m.

  • Your donation is 100% tax deductible for the full face value of the tickets.

  • You will receive a letter for your taxes in 7-10 business days in regard to donating your tickets.

  • We are unable to issue a deduction letter for tickets donated the day of the show.

How to Request a Donation from Hennepin Arts

We review every ticket contribution request for consideration. If we are able to honor your request, we will reach out to you at least two weeks prior to the event you request.

  • All requests are submitted through our online form at least 6 weeks prior to your fundraising event

  • You are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

  • Non-Profits benefiting local communities

  • Fellow Arts Organizations

  • Education Organizations

  • Social Service Organizations benefiting Children and Families

  • Social Service Organizations that complement our mission of diversity and inclusion

  • Due to high demand, we are not always able to accommodate requests.

  • Fundraisers for a specific individual or family

  • Scholarship prize for an individual or a few individuals

  • Fundraisers for political purposes

  • Secondary requests on behalf of a National Organization (for-profit organizations or individuals raising money for another group such as United Way, American Cancer Society, etc.)

  • We are unable to provide door prizes, incentives, or monetary donations
